POLIBAND pipe protection systems

Self-adhesive anticorrosive and mechanical protection mixed tapes type PEHM 630, PEHM 750

Recommendations: PEHM tapes are used for coating buried or immersed metal pipes, for on-site coating pipes welding areas or for repairing pipes pre-coated with PE, PP or PUR.

The POLIBAND system made with this type of strip is designed for a maximum continuous operating temperature of 50° C.

Performance:

  • very good corrosion and dielectric properties (volume resistance: min 5×1016)
  • very good compliance with any unevenness of coating surfaces
  • excellent impact resistance
  • compatibility with polyethylene, polypropylene, epoxy and polyurethane based insulation systems
  • very good resistance to petroleum products
  • ensures good maintenance of the integrity of the insulation system in transport, handling and storage of pre-coated pipes.
